Dear Friends of Neve Hanna,
In Neve Hanna everything is okay so far. We are expanding our radius of action and have finally started our Horseback Riding Therapy again in the nearby Moshav Sde Moshe. It’s a great joy for the children and since there is a need to catch up and a request for variety, we have currently expanded this therapy program.
In addition, a new project has started that we have been planning since 2022. The big selection round took place last spring. We just couldn’t start as planned because of what happened since October.
It’s about the “Yeladudes–Neve-Hanna-Baking School” project.
The aim of the baking school is to introduce teenagers to the bakery profession on both a theoretical and practical level and to lay an initial foundation for possible future professional training. In addition, the young people should be given the opportunity to acquire skills that are important in every professional life: punctuality, perseverance, targeted execution of tasks, precise repetition of work processes, team spirit, personal responsibility, internalization and independent repetition of the learned content, and much more.
