Mark Your Calendars! GivingTuesday is on December 3, 2024! This year, American Friends of Neve Hanna is raising money for the Neve Hanna Emergency Needs Shelter Fund.
Many of our at-risk youth experienced the acts of terrorism that unfolded on Shabbat morning, October 7, 2023 in the border region of the Gaza Strip, from which our city is just 15 miles away. The past year, our psychologists and social workers stepped up the therapeutic programs to assist with the additional trauma that comes with war. It is a situation that causes great mental stress. The uncertainty of what will happen next only adds to that stress. To keep all our children, the staff and the volunteers from Israel and abroad safe, we urgently must add sheltered space throughout the children’s campus. We must also add additional psychological therapy for every child.
