As we turn our thoughts to Passover and recall and celebrate our freedom from Egyptian bondage, it is time to rejoice in our ability to free ourselves of those elements within that enslave us.
Every year, Neve Hanna celebrates Passover with a traditional Leil Ha-Seder event with the children. Jewish holidays are celebrated regularly, introducing Jewish heritage to the children. These activities foster community, creativity, and connection through shared traditions, values, and rituals.
Despite the ongoing war, there is growth and hope for the children at Neve Hanna. With your help, American Friends of Neve Hanna can continue funding the incredible projects and activities that feed every child’s need for creativity, freedom, and fun. Activities designed to help each child overcome past issues that enslaved them.

Streetlight teens prepared 120 packages of Passover food and items for distribution to families in need, ensuring they can celebrate Passover in their homes.

Yeladudes Bakery School is specially designed for the children to explore the professional side of baking and discover opportunities for their future.

The Library fosters a love of reading books and studying. It has been instrumental and a cornerstone in the children’s literacy and reading scores.

The Hip Hop program is educational, therapeutic, and creative. Dancing and exercise help relieve stress and build a sense of community.

Rabba Liron Levy is working with the 2026 B’nai Mitzvot class, 6 girls and 3 boys. They look forward to being called up to the Torah and the wonderful celebration.
Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy Passover, filled with joy, hope, and blessings.
