Mazal Tov, Miriam Beatrice Rich!
American Friends of Neve Hanna extends its warmest congratulations to Miriam Beatrice Rich, who was called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on June 13 at Temple Beth Tzedek in Williamsville, New York.
As her Bat Mitzvah Project, Miriam chose to support Neve Hanna Children’s Home. Inspired by Neve Hanna’s mission, she is helping provide hope and opportunity for children at risk in Israel while putting into action the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam and Tzedakah.

Miriam’s mother, Rabbi Sara Rich, began serving as rabbi of Temple Beth Tzedek in 2023 after being an active member of the congregation since 2017. Several years earlier, Rabbi Rich participated in a Rabbinical Assembly delegation to Israel, where she spent a meaningful day with Rabba Liron Levy, the leadership, staff, and children of Neve Hanna.
