At Neve Hanna Children’s Home, the Library is far more than a room filled with books. It is a place where curiosity is nurtured, confidence grows, and dreams begin.
Our Library Program fosters a lifelong love of reading, strengthens academic achievement, develops interpersonal skills, and inspires children to pursue higher education and meaningful careers. It also serves as a hands-on vocational learning program, where our professional staff mentors and trains teens through real-world library responsibilities, providing valuable experience and practical skills that can open doors to future careers in Library Science and education.
A Library with Many Benefits
• Fosters a love of reading and learning
• Provides hands-on vocational training
• Builds confidence and interpersonal skills
• Inspires the pursuit of higher education
Think back to your childhood.

Was there a book that captured your imagination? A story whose characters stayed with you long after you turned the final page? Perhaps it was a book about adventure, horses, science, history, or faraway places.
Now imagine the impact of placing that same opportunity into the hands of a child at Neve Hanna.
The next Israeli physician, teacher, artist, social worker, scientist—or even astronaut—may discover their passion through a single book. Just as important, a caring mentor can help guide that child toward a future filled with confidence, purpose, and possibility.
Because of friends like you, our library now includes more than 1,000 books—each one opening a door to discovery, imagination, and the promise of a brighter future.
Thank you for helping provide hope, healing, and opportunity to the children who need it most.
