Helping Children Find Their Voice!

Neve Hanna’s Hip-Hop Program inspires creativity, well-being, and confidence. ❤️

Music and dance have long been woven into Jewish life—bringing people together in celebration, strengthening community, and expressing joy, resilience, and creativity. Facing the ongoing challenges in Israel after the October 7th attacks, the children of Neve Hanna need safe spaces to navigate complex feelings. Music and movement give them a powerful tool when words are not enough.

The Hip-Hop Program combines education, culture, therapy, and creativity through activities such as rapping, dancing, and beatboxing. More than just a recreational activity, this initiative offers a supportive environment where children can build confidence and discover their own unique voices.

Through hip-hop, the children benefit in many ways:

  • Health and Well-Being – Dance and movement provide exercise, relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and foster a sense of belonging and community.
  • Self-Expression and Resilience – Music and movement allow children to express emotions, strengthen self-confidence, and develop healthy ways of coping with life’s challenges.
  • A Creative Outlet – Through dance, rap, and beatboxing, children can interpret their experiences, cultivate self-awareness, and transform feelings into creativity and hope.

Through the Hip-Hop Program, children are discovering that creativity, music, and movement can inspire confidence, nurture resilience, and help them envision brighter futures.

Thank you for being a Friend of Neve Hanna and for helping provide care, and opportunities to the children who need it most.
