Discover how the sea helps children at risk build confidence, resilience, and hope.

Ziv Neurim’s Path of the Sea program supports teenage boys and girls who need intensive guidance during the critical years of adolescence. Through professionally led experiences on the beach and at sea, participants build perseverance, resilience, confidence, self-discipline, and teamwork while discovering new possibilities through swimming, rowing, surfing, sailing, and other marine experiences.
Using the powerful and ever-changing environment of the sea, Ziv Neurim empowers children at risk to realize their potential, overcome challenges, and develop the confidence and life skills that will guide them through their education, national service, future careers, and beyond.
The healing power of the sea is receiving growing attention. A recent Jerusalem Post feature highlighted the remarkable success of therapeutic surfing programs in Israel, describing how the sea helps participants build confidence, resilience, and hope while overcoming trauma and adversity. At Neve Hanna, these same principles have long been at the heart of our partnership with Ziv Neurim through its Path of the Sea program, where children at risk discover that the courage they find on the water can carry them through every aspect of life.

As therapeutic marine programs continue to gain recognition for their positive impact on emotional well-being and resilience, we are proud to support a program that has been helping young people grow stronger, more confident, and more hopeful through the transformative power of the sea.
