They say play is the work of children—and it’s true! Play is how children learn about the world, themselves and each other. Having fun is an important part of a child’s emotional growth to succeed in life.
Our new campaign, the Playground Project is all about fun, fun, fun!
Do you remember your days swinging and climbing when you were a kid?
Sadly, Neve Hanna’s playground of 40 years had to be demolished due to safety issues.
We dream of wooden installations made to last decades, environmentally friendly and challenging for the children. Places where they can play, climb, hide and seek, explore and learn, and of course have a lot of fun in a safe surrounding.
Playtime outside allows the children to act spontaneously and keeps the magic and wonder of childhood alive.
The benefits are:
Develop motor skills.
Develops thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Teaches patience, sharing, teamwork and more.
Helps build confidence as the children discover and overcome challenges.
Builds muscle and provides physical exercise.
Brings joy and creates happy memories.
Our goal is to raise the necessary funds needed to build a safe, wonderful new playground for the children to enjoy at Neve Hanna. With your help, we can do it!
